Inspire Pay Enables New Markets

Nov 30 2011 - 6:09pm

Inspire Pay is a new transaction platform architected by Inspire Commerce founder Mark Fischer.

Inspire simplifies digital transactions, and makes accepting transactions accessible to a broader group of businesses and organizations, including a group he calls "micro-entrepreneurs," and other organizations who don't have the skills, manpower or budget to manage multiple payment options, from Visa and PayPal to Dwolla and Google Checkout.  Regardless of whether you use two payment systems or ten, you'll have one simple interface to manage, on Inspire Pay.

Although Inpsire Pay doesn't immediately seem like a social enterprise -- their means of production, revenues and business model are traditional, and their direct impact (transactions) don't appear to be particularly different from a single-bottom-line company -- the values behind the company tell a different story.

Inspire Commerce, Mark's previous company, has handled transaction processing for many for-benefit organizations, including B Corp.  Inspire is a B Corporation itself, demonstrating ethical and responsible behavior.  But Mark's vision is not only to create a revenue-gerating organization, but enable social enterprises of all sizes to be able to accept financial transactions at a minimum of cost and challenge, which ultimately helps the flow of capital into positive impact.
